WETEX and DSS gather prominent specialised environment and smart infrastructure companies

15 Nov 2023

The 25th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show (DSS) 2023 has attracted many local and international specialised companies in environment, digital transformation, smart infrastructure, smart buildings, and sustainable cities.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising WETEX and DSS 2023, under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 15 to 17 November 2023. Every year, the exhibition gathers thousands of specialised companies in energy, water, green development, sustainability, electric vehicles, and smart cities. This makes it an ideal platform for companies, investors, and visitors to learn about innovations and solutions in these sectors, exchange experiences, conclude deals and build partnerships, and explore investment opportunities in local and regional markets.

“We work in line with the vision and directives of the wise leadership to consolidate Dubai’s position as a leading hub for a green economy that supports the global efforts to achieve net zero. WETEX and DSS is the largest exhibition of its kind in the region and one of the most prominent specialised international exhibitions. The exhibition attaches great importance to technologies and programmes that support the success of smart cities and smart grids. This ensures the continuity and availability of integrated and connected services around the clock. It also provides an advanced infrastructure for managing facilities and services through smart and interconnected systems that rely on the latest disruptive technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution including Artificial Intelligence (AI), energy storage, the Internet of Things (IoT), and others. The exhibition is an annual opportunity to review the best solutions and practices to meet environmental challenges, exchange ideas and experiences, and discuss the latest technologies and solutions in the green economy, smart cities, innovation, and sustainable development,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show.

Environment:

“We are immensely proud to once again be part of WETEX, a testament to our enduring commitment to sustainability and environmental progress.
