Dr. Saleh Ali Albalushi is a distinguished professional with over 23 years of extensive experience across Oil & Gas, Energy, Shipyards, and Real Estate industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Health, Safety & Environment at Drydocks World, he oversees a comprehensive HSE Division encompassing Safety Operations, Corporate Sustainability, Carbon Reduction, Fire & Rescue, and Medical departments.
With a career trajectory spanning key leadership roles at TECOM Group, Dubai Holding, MERAAS Assets Management, and Dolphin Energy, Saleh began as an oilfield engineer with Schlumberger before transitioning into strategic HSE leadership. His professional journey includes establishing HSE departments from inception and supporting complex energy projects with a strong focus on safety and environmental stewardship.

Georges El-Ibry is a Director at Bureau Veritas, an international company specializing in testing, inspection, and certification. He is based in Dubai and holds an Engineering Degree in Agronomy and Food Technology.
George started his career with Bureau Veritas in Lebanon in 2001 as a Project Quality Manager and Lead Auditor. In 2007, he moved to Dubai and has held various leadership positions, including Food Product Manager, Zone Large Contracts & Key Accounts Manager, Regional Food Service Line Manager, and Regional Manager for the Certification Business Line in the Middle East. He is currently the Regional Director for the Certification Strategic Growth Market in the Middle East, Caspian, and Africa regions.
In 2020, his team received the first prize for "Best Leadership Project" in the Asia Pacific Middle East region for their strategic communication efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was also nominated to the global Certification Digital Project governance team. George contributes to Bureau Veritas's mission by assisting clients in achieving certifications for quality, safety, and sustainability.
John Shenton is a distinguished Chartered Construction Manager and Regional Contract Manager at Averda, with extensive experience managing complex infrastructure projects across EMEA. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Association of Project Management, he brings sixteen years of strategic contract management expertise.
Academically accomplished with an LLM from Paris-Descartes and an MBE from Stuttgart, John bridges academic research and practical application. Beyond his corporate leadership, he founded Self Club Dubai, a community initiative exploring wellbeing and resilience through yoga and philosophy.
As an advocate for alternative dispute resolution, John mentors aspiring construction managers, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving. His upcoming presentation at DEWA WETEX 2025 will focus on leveraging innovation and emerging technologies to create healthier, safer workplaces and communities.
