Under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Indian Pavilion will bring together specialised companies active across clean and renewable energy, water, carbon markets, electric mobility, sustainability and environmental technologies.

“India’s annual participation at WETEX supports the continued growth of mutual investment flows between the UAE and India, reflecting the depth of relations and cooperation between the two countries. Non-oil trade between the UAE and India reached AED 1 trillion in about four years. We look forward to exploring the latest Indian innovations that contribute to the sustainability goals of both countries and the wider world,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX.

The Bharat Pavilion is being led by India’s apex trade body, the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), established by India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Dr Abhay Sinha, Director General of the SEPC, said: “India’s environmental services and water technology sector has the capability, scale and innovation to serve the world. The Bharat Pavilion at WETEX 2026 is a strong step towards positioning Indian companies as trusted global partners in water and sustainability. We are proud to bring together enterprises that reflect the depth and diversity of India’s offerings, and we are confident that the pavilion will open new doors for trade, partnerships, and investment.”

Exhibitors at the Bharat Pavilion will present advanced solutions ranging from automation, process analytics and artificial intelligence-powered facilities intelligence to underwater robotics, water treatment and filtration systems, pumps, membranes, bioculture and odour control. Collectively, their expertise spans the water value chain, including mart monitoring and regulatory compliance.

The pavilion will also serve as a platform for business engagement, enabling visitors to meet manufacturers and decision-makers, explore partnerships, distribution arrangements, joint ventures and project collaborations, and take part in programme of seminars, curated B2B meetings and innovator presentations.
