South Korea returns to WETEX with 14 companies and four organisations driving smart utility and network efficiency innovations

Under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is organising the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 30 September to 2 October 2025,
South Korea is, once again, making waves at WETEX 2025 with a robust delegation of 14 water companies and four organisations, each showcasing advanced solutions across a range of sectors. The South Korean pavilion at WETEX 2025 will feature a compelling mix of technologies designed to enhance quality of life and minimise electricity and water network losses while enhancing their resilience.
“South Korea’s strong annual participation at WETEX reflects the strong and distinguished relations between the UAE and South Korea, and the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries aimed at driving sustainable growth in both countries,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX.
Hong Seung-Kwan, President of Korea Water Partnership, said: “We extend our best wish for the great success of WETEX 2025. We are pleased to participate in WETEX 2025 presenting the Korea Pavilion, organised by K-water, K-ECO (Korea Water Cluster), Korea Water Partnership and KOAMI, together with 14 leading Korean companies showcasing advanced technologies in the water sector. Building on several years of ongoing participation, we hope this year’s exhibition will serve as an even more effective platform to strengthen co-operation with the UAE, explore new opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation and achieve meaningful outcomes with our partners.”
South Korea’s pavilion brings together a group of major companies specialised in:
- Smart living solutions: water and air purification systems, environmental health care equipment, food and agriculture-related technologies, and advanced home appliances
- Water efficiency technologies: AI and data-driven water loss management systems, metering pumps, resilient valve solutions, ultrasonic flow meters and seismic isolation water tanks
- Electricity grid optimisation: predictive diagnostics for power outages, compact grounding devices, conventional and renewable energy transformers, heavy electric equipment and thermal imaging cameras for preventive maintenance
