Promotion Description:
The WETEX 2024 raffle is organised by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority PJSC (DEWA). The raffle will grant a Tesla Car to two (2) lucky winners. The Winners will be selected via electronical on the 3rd day of the exhibition at 5:30 pm at DEWA Main Stand in DWTC.
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for the raffle, (i) the visitor must be at least 18 years of age. (ii) the visitor must attend all 3 days of the WETEX 2024 exhibition. (iii) DEWA Staff and its subsidiaries’ staff, WETEX & DWTC Organisers, Guest relations, Speakers, Committee members, Volunteers and Exhibitors are not eligible to participate in raffle draw.
Official Raffle Prize:
The prize for the raffle is an Electric Vehicle; however, it does not include insurance, registrations, logistics or other related expenses that may be incurred while collecting the car from the Electric Vehicle Distributor. The winner will need to make their own arrangements for the foregoing.
Winner Selection:
The raffle will take place on October 3, 2024, and two winners will be chosen by an electronic draw, from WETEX 2024 visitors’ entrance database. The winner will be announced soon after the raffle at DWTC venue and will be notified by phone and email.
Verification of Winner:
All potential winners are subject to verification by the WETEX 2024-Organisers, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Raffle. The raffle result will be considered final after the visitor’s eligibility has been verified and confirmed by the Organisers. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all the conditions and requirements. If a potential winner of the prize cannot be contacted within 7 days after the raffle event, such potential winner forfeits the prize, and the prize will be given to the next eligible winner. In the event the prize winner is disqualified for any reason, WETEX 2024 Organisers will award the prize to an alternate winner chosen by random draw from amongst the remaining eligible entries. The winner must present their electronic badges and personal identifications e.g. passport/ ID/ when asked to prove eligibility.
Release:
Visitors and winners agree to indemnify and hold harmless WETEX 2024 and DEWA suppliers, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, as well as each such company's officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.
Privacy:
The winner is deemed to have given due consent to WETEX 2024 Organisers, DEWA and its agents to use winner’s name, photograph, voice, opinion, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, free of any fee, payment or consideration. The winner’s name and details will be announced publicly.
General Conditions:
WETEX 2024 Organisers reserves the right to cancel, suspend the Raffle and/or modify the Raffle conditions or any part of it at its discretion; or in the event of any fraud, or other factor beyond the WETEX 2024 organiser’s reasonable control that impair the integrity or organisation of the Raffle, as determined by WETEX 2024 Organisers, without any obligation to disclose the reasons or justification for it. In such event, WETEX 2024 Organisers reserves the right to award the prize at random from among other eligible entries received. WETEX 2024 Organisers reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual suspected to have tampered with the entry cards, the process or operation of the Raffle or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike, fraudulent or disruptive manner. The visitor shall not have any right to question the raffle administration or any related procedures or question the validity of raffle award declaration for any reason whatsoever. The Raffle prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash or any other items.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer:
The Organising Parties, including DEWA and/or its affiliates shall not be liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the visitors, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Raffle; (2) unauthorised human intervention/interruption in any part of the process of the Raffle; (3) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Raffle or the processing of entries; (4) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from visitor’s participation in the Raffle or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. (5) any defect, loss or damage that may be found/incurred in the raffle award (6) for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of profit etc. or (7) for erroneous omission, deletion, or loss of visitor data depriving visitor’s participation in the raffle.
Disputes:
Except where prohibited, the visitor agrees that all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved amicably, failing which, it shall finally, and exclusively be settled by the courts in Emirates of Dubai.
Governing provisions:
This Raffle shall be governed by this terms and conditions and the applicable laws of Dubai. Your participation in the raffle draw implies that you have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions, terms, and conditions that the Organiser may issue.
