• Eligibility: visitors - 18 years old and must attend the 3 days of the exhibition
• Excluded in the eligibility: All DEWA Staff, Subsidiaries Staff, Organizers, Committee members, Volunteers and Exhibitors
• Winners will be notified by phone and email.
• If potential winners cannot be contacted within stipulated time, prize will be forfeited and WETEX organizers will award the prize to an alternate winner.
• The winners name will be publicly announced.
• Winners must present their electronic badge and identification.

Promotion Description:

The WETEX & DSS 2023 raffle is organized by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority PJSC (DEWA). The raffle will grant a Tesla car each to three (3) lucky winners. Registered Visitors who attends WETEX & DSS 2023 on all the 3 days of the exhibition will be eligible to be part of the raffle draw. The Winners will be selected electronically on the 3rd day of exhibition at 5:30 pm at DEWA Main Stand in DWTC.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age. To enter the raffle, a person must attend the 3 days WETEX/DSS 2023 exhibition. All DEWA Staff and its subsidiaries, WETEX Organisers, Guest relations, Speakers, Committee members, DWTC Staff, Volunteers and Exhibitors are not eligible to win in raffle draw.

Official Raffle Prize:

The prize for the raffle is Tesla Car Model Y RWD. This raffle does not include insurance, registrations, logistics or other related expenses that may be incurred while collecting the car from the Tesla Distributor and the winner will need to make their own arrangements.

Winner Selection:

The raffle will take place on Nov. 17, 2023 and three winners will be chosen by a random draw electronically, based on WETEX 2023 visitors entrance database. The winner will be announced soon after the raffle end date at DWTC and will be notified by phone and email. Verification of Winner: All potential winners are subject to verification by the WETEX 2023- Organizers, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Raffle. An entrant is not a winner, unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning are contingent upon fulfilling all the conditions and requirements. If a potential winner of the prize cannot be contacted, within the required time period 7 days after the event, such potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event the prize winner is disqualified for any reason, WETEX 2023 Organizers will award the prize to an alternate winner by random draw among all remaining eligible entries. Winner must present their electronic badges and identifications e.g. passport/ ID/ when asked to prove eligibility.

Release:

By receipt of the prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless WETEX 2023 and their respective subsidiary, and affiliate companies, supplies, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, as well as each such company's officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.

Privacy:

Participation in the Raffle constitutes winner’s consent to WETEX 2023 and its agents use of winner’s name, photograph, voice, opinion, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. The winner’s name will be announced publicly.

General Conditions:

WETEX 2023 organizers reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Raffle, or any part of it, if any fraud, or other factor beyond the WETEX 2023 organizers reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Raffle, as determined by WETEX 2023 organizers in its sole discretion. In such event, WETEX 2023 organizers reserves the right to award the prize at random from among eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. WETEX 2023 organizers reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual, without compensation, it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Raffle or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. The visitor shall not have any right to question the raffle administration or any related procedures or question the validity of raffle award declaration for any reason whatsoever. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash or any other items.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer :

The Organizing Parties, including DEWA and/or its affiliates shall not be liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Raffle; (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process of the Raffle; (3) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Raffle or the processing of entries; or (4) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Raffle or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. or (5) and defect, loss or damage that may be incurred for the raffle award. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Raffle.

Disputes:

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved amicably, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively settled by the courts in Emirates of Dubai.

Governing provisions:

This Raffle shall be governed by this terms and conditions and the applicable laws of Dubai.

Your participation in the raffle draw implies that you have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions, terms and conditions that the Organiser may issue.
