DEWA organised the annual SmarTech as part of the 17th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2015), to shed the light on the key challenges in the environment sector, and come up with innovative eco-friendly solutions that support the economic growth while preserving natural resources and protecting the environment.

WETEX is organised by DEWA under the umbrella of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of DEWA. WETEX aims to promote green solutions in the water, energy, and environment sectors at local, regional, and international levels.

SmarTech features the latest products, technologies, and solutions related to energy and water efficiency, as well as residential and commercial green-building solutions.

SmarTech aims to reinforce the eco-friendly trading as new green technologies are currently promoted in international markets. Through SmarTech, we are looking forward to encouraging companies and organisations to adopt best eco-friendly practices to raise their contribution to the sustainable development.

SmarTech is an ideal platform for companies to promote their eco-friendly technologies, products, and services during WETEX, which will be attended by international companies, leading manufacturers, businessmen, distributors, and retailers from around the world to showcase the latest technologies and green solutions in the energy, water and environment sectors.
