Green Week

DEWA organises ‘Green Week’ annually to raise awareness and promote a culture of environmental sustainability and conservation amongst various community segments.

The Green Week serves as an overarching umbrella for environmental activities and events to promote green practices and instil a culture of conservation to create a better tomorrow for generations to come.

The event several key events including WETEX and World Green Economy Summit, and features a series of workshops and seminars. On the sideline of the Green Week, DEWA organises the ‘Sustainability Pledge’ where participants pledge to adopt daily green practices and promote them through social networks to underline their commitment towards sustainability.

DEWA organised the annual SmarTech as part of the 17th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2015), to shed the light on the key challenges in the environment sector, and come up with innovative eco-friendly solutions that support the economic growth while preserving natural resources and protecting the environment.
The exhibition provides additional opportunities for WETEX’s visitors and exhibitors to learn more about the latest developments in water, energy and the environment.
